This question divides both the presidential majority and the big bosses of the AI, while the OpenAI company has just given up launching a new AI, considered insufficiently controlled.
The bosses of the two American AI giants OpenAI and Anthropic spoke before the UN Security Council on Wednesday at a meeting initiated by France. Sam Altman called for "extreme attention" while this technology could accelerate rapidly, and international cooperation. Dario Amodei promised that Anthropic would "reduce as much as necessary" the pace of development of his AI.
