Pope Leo calls for healthcare to be 'accessible for all' during Uruguay visit

Pope Leo XIV on Friday called for healthcare to be "accessible to all" as he began a visit to Uruguay just three weeks after having undergone lung surgery. The 12-day tour of South America, which will also include stops in Argentina and Peru, is seen as something of a homecoming for the pontiff, who lived in Peru for almost two decades and holds joint US and Peruvian citizenship.
